To hide the style from the TOC, remove the number from the TOC field corresponding to this style and leave the field blank. Heading 1, instead of the predefined level 1, find the style inĪvailable styles, and then type 2 in the field next to it. However, for some reason, heading structure in the Navigation pane does not copy that in the table of contents. Thank you for your suggestion.
